Reality of Grace

Sometimes you get off track when it comes to your relationship with God. It doesn't mean that you have lost it completely, even though it may seem like it. It may even seem like you still have it intact, when really it's being put last. Maybe you make excuses for yourself. You love God; yet you aren't truly glorifying Him within your life. You tell yourself you are, but you really are just ignoring Him. Sometimes you actually accept that you are ignoring Him, and get upset. It's okay to get upset when it comes to your ignorance of God's presence. It's okay.

You get anxious when you don't pray. You need to pray. I don't mean feeling the need to pray in order to get a selfish reward; that's the toxicity of being religious and egotistical. I mean the need to pray in order for God to cast your anxiety away and to fall back in love with God's mercy for you.

We don't have perfect lives, but we do have the option to learn from our imperfections. We can always ignore our problems and claim they are perfections, but we both know we are all so imperfect.

How deep is the love, the love of God? How great is His grace, God's grace? Both are immeasurable. Why? God has no limit. God is God, and no one will ever truly understand God but God. That's why it is frustrating when you don't understand why things are happening to you. However, you always know that you can run to Him when you lack understanding. You run to God because you know He can protect you. It may not be the way you want Him to protect you; it may involve taking something away from you. It may be something you thought was good for you, when in reality it 's the very thing keeping you from God.

There are many broken people in this broken world who do not know God. They hear about this God, but refuse to surrender to Him. They believe they are smarter, stronger, and more powerful than this God we believe in. When deep down, they are just fearful that there is something bigger than them. What they don't know is that this God is not only smarter, stronger, and more powerful than us, but also more loving than us. We can think that we are the most giving beings on this planet, but we are nothing compared to God. We can put ourselves on the highest pedestal in life, but that just feeds into our selfishness and ego. We say, I did this because I am kind and loving, when really what we should be saying is, I did this because God is kind and loving. The only I Am, is God.

I do things to Glorify God because He did not create me to be lost. I do find myself distracted, but I always feel God pull me back in. When I feel that pull, it is frustrating to let the things I thought were good for me go. I get lost in the facade of me and not in the reality of His Grace.
